Born in 1984 and raised in Minnesota, Brandy has a degree in Secondary Education and has worked in colleges as well as K-12. Her first production job was in Los Angeles during 2006 for Jonathan Larson's Tick, tick... BOOM! the Musical, directed by Scott Schwartz, son of Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, Pocahontas, Prince of Egypt, Wicked, etc.). Growing up, she was exposed to live theatre thanks to her uncle who is a Tony Award winning Broadway producer. When she was twenty-three, she joined the cast of the SyFy Channel's Ghost Hunters International and after filming abroad for a number of years, she had appeared in over thirty episodes as well as an episode of Ghost Hunters. She has worked in forty countries, on six continents and has been to nearly every state in the US.
Today, Brandy calls both Minnesota and California home and has added film, commercial and television work to her list of credits. More recently, she has worked on the Travel Channel's Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations starring Andrew Zimmern and Destination America's (now, on Travel) Haunted Towns which first aired in August 2017. She has worked either as on-screen talent or in production on multiple television shows and collectively over 100 episodes. In addition to her work as on-screen talent and a producer, Brandy has created and written a comic book trilogy titled Dark Dispatches and is currently adapting it to film.
An avid adventurer, traveler, photographer, and historian, Brandy is always ready for a challenge and looks to expand her talents and knowledge with every project she takes part in. Her years of work in paranormal research stemmed from a profound interest in cultural anthropology as a whole. While a skeptic, she continues to find the subject matter fascinating and maintains a connection with the concepts to this day.
